Behind the scenes of another commercial + a new performance date!

June 8, 2018

Hello, dear friend! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting a commercial for Avon College. We filmed outdoors on campus and the view was absolutely breathtaking. A few behind-the-scenes photos have come in so I wanted to share :)

This was my first time working with Director Phil Toran and his production team at Nuhelm Films. They were so awesome to work with, super professional and efficient. I also got to work with my new pal Leo DeFriend (Flasher) for the first time and we had a blast. The commercial should be out sometime this summer, so I'll be sure to keep you posted.

In other news, "Maturing Youth" is launching the worldwide premiere of a new trailer for the film on June 15th.  You can head over to www.maturingyouth.com to sign up for updates, and of course I'll be sharing it here as soon as soon as I can.

We're still waiting on pins and needles for the release date of the movie. Until then, you can check out another review that recently came in from Jumpcut Online:

And here's a kind snippet about me from the review:

"Kim Paris’ brief performance as Sadie came off very natural, and whilst I would have loved to have seen more of her, her limited screen time was well utilized as she helps develop the plot, as well as give us some more information about Roger and his life."

(--Tom Sheffield, Jumpcut Online)

Thank you, Tom!

Btw, have you seen our movie poster yet? Here it is again, in case you missed it :)

I'm also grateful to report that "Casting Chloe" screened at the Jersey City Popup Festival on Wednesday, June 6th. Lots of good things happening with that film!

And finally, I wanted to offer a friendly reminder that I'm performing in the staged public reading series, "Plays and Pizza," on Monday, June 18th @ 7:30pm. I have several fun roles in different plays that night and I would LOVE to see you there! It's happening at Lucky Jack's on 129 Orchard Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

The producer's say that a reservation is a must because people often get turned away at the door. I don't want that to happen to you, my friend, so be sure to reserve your ticket here for only $7 here: www.PayPal.Me/PlaysandPizza

As always, thank you for your support! Enjoy the weekend!

Kim

(p.s. Come on over and see what else I've been up to by visiting my IMDb page :)
